On the palate it is medium bodied with red fruit and integrated oak. The excellent balance of acidity and ripe tannins will allow this wine to age well.

There is better out there...

The instructions were not clear at all. Specifically, timings for cooking the meat were wrong, but that was not the only problem. Also, little did I know that the chef wanted the oven on for plus 3 hours as at any given point something from another course had to go in it. Worse, the instructions do not take into consideration that you might want to eat with your guests, let alone have the courses prepared in a way that guests do not want to wait an hour in between courses. A lot of ingredients could have been labelled better or prepared to save hassle later on. The videos did not help with any of the above. They were more geared on the how, technique, rather than what is actually expected to do. There is a great opportunity in the market to have 1st class dining without the hassle and this one did not hot that mark. Nevertheless it was fun and an experience.

The New Years Eve box did not disappoint

The New Years Eve box did not disappoint. The prep was relatively easy and the completed meal was absolutely fantastic. We have now had 5 boxes and they have all been wonderful. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, the prep and cooking instructions are really easy to follow, portion sizes are really generous and the final meals have been really very tasty. The pairing wines are also great. I can't recommend highly enough.We are very much looking forward to our next box which is due tomorrow .

Whilst celebrating in the New Year in the past has always been about spending it with friends - Banquist helped us celebrate in style with a superb meal. We loved the scallops which was very unusual and the pudding was scrummy. Not to tricky to cook either especially after a couple of glasses of Kent fizz 🥂🍾
