Just wow

Bought this for the wife and I. I’m a passionate amateur cook and absolutely loved this. Cooked a great meal which was enjoyable to make and learnt some new techniques that I’ve adapted into my day to day cooking. Easy to follow and wonderfully tasty. Have recommended to lots of friends and will definitely buy again.

Valentines meal

Lovely ingredients and wine. Made a fantastic meal although it took around 2 1/2 hours to make. Marred me not by a very underripe peach and a very tough price of steak.

Excellent quality food & new skills gained

We had the valentines medley crab, beef, chocolate. The starter is the only reason I knocked off a star, just because of the complexity of the presentation and it got me a little stressed trying to roll a finely cut avocado, which ended up a bit squished. I had to watch the instructions about 10 times. Having 2 avocados confused me as there was only one in the dish so I kept thinking I’d missed something. I would also consider myself fairly competent in a kitchen so a real novice would struggle, I imagine. It however tasted amazing. The other dishes were well detailed although I do think a level of cooking is needed. The meat was fabulous and so tasty and I loved learning a new way to cook potatoes. The desert so easy and tasty. Plenty of food and ate the left overs with Sunday lunch

Once we realised it wasn’t just a ‘heat up at home’ and we had actual ingredients to prep (my fault for not reading properly!) we had a great time working through this. The instructions were easy to follow, the ingredients were good quality and the end result was great! We’ll certainly be getting another box.
